Throughout his life as a juggler and a dancer, Martin Schwietzke has developed, is still experimenting with great enthusiasm, a relationship between the stage and the audience.
For 78 tours de mains, he is sharing the stage with Mathieu Ogier, fallen off that breathing machine, the gramophone. DJ with his own collection of vinyl records, he plays around with time using today’s DJ techniques on an ancient support.
In this duo, the physical effort of the juggler offers itself in response to the effort necessary to manipulate the gramophone and the discs, then creating an inviting playful theatrality.
